24 HOURS of MEDAL OF HONOR

Well it might not be quite 24 hours but we are wanting to hold a tournament that would involve all of the CLANS in Europe that play SPEARHEAD in some form or another, I was hoping to arrange for one clan tournament were all clans could take part before either we all bite the dust, or decide to change to MOH 2010 in the late Fall.....

It would be one massive knockout competition......

We would have opening rounds were groups of four clans would play each other on a home and away level and find the top two teams from each group that would then advance onto the next level Were it would be a knockout level of TDM matches against each other all the way to a grand final which would be a one off straight final played over two hours duration......

We would have a set route for all teams that progress and The server addresses and times would be forwarded out in the planning of the competition, this may seem confusing and difficult to work but It can be done and with the planning given out in advance to all teams what could go wrong....LOL

Many clans have their differences with other clans and let’s be honest that’s the nature of the beast really, Clans will always fight with clans.....LOL And have their differences with each other as otherwise we would all be part of one big clan.... and that would be very boring.....LOL

I am pretty sure we lost another 3 clans over the new year period that I used to visit and its clearly not getting any better. So I would propose to say let’s all get it on with a true celebration of the old Lady of FPS, And have a Tournament of Tournaments and show that there is some life left in the old game.

Yes Lag can be an issue and yes we all play the game in different ways but what if we could play a series of matches to see who are the best teams, and maybe bring the community together a little more, In the opening round All the clan teams would play a home and away leg were on the home leg you play your preferred style of game, and the away leg is played on your opponents style of game play......

I am thinking we could play this as 6 v 6 this would allow for the larger clans to enter more than one team for this event. If you cannot get 6 players as a clan then bring 4 or 5 players subs could be found.... the whole point would be to involve as many players as possible from all clans...

This is open to change and would like any feedback you have on issues really looking for your thoughts on this idea......

There is always going to be the question of cheating brought up and to be honest as I see it what is the point any longer, if you want to cheat you will nothing is going to stop the cheaters from doing it,

I believe that we all do our bit to keep our servers as clean as possible, and in that end some use dmw some use foresight some use other methods, what we need to say is we all as registered clans are clean in our ideals, we are no longer seen as a serious form of competitive gaming in regards to the mainstream COD ITES so this should be seen as what it is a fun {Yet challenging event to bring the clans together and forge new friendships and maybe not too many bitter feuds.....LOL}

All to be played over a 24 hour period, I am thinking Friday evening through to Saturday morning.....

We would organise the event and keep all clans updated as we went on, we would have a strict schedule of matches and a set of firm rules in place..... You would just need to get your end of the server matches ready to play at the allotted dates and times....

Dates would probably be kicking it all off towards the latter part of February.........

I have sent this post to every clan I could locate in Europe...... and will put out an update after the 8th of February with a more set list of rules and regulations and such.......
